with Air Nostrum ’ s ATR 72-600 ended , with EC-LQV staying a couple of hours at PMI before returning to IBZ . We settled in for a wait of a couple of hours before flying back to Valencia .
The only Balearic Island we missed on this journey was Menorca , as the flight to Mahon ( MAH ) was not scheduled at a convenient time for us , but we will visit it at a later opportunity .
After spending some time at PMI , it was time for us to go to the gate to board our IB8402 flight back to Valencia . This was operated by the six year-old Bombardier CRJ-1000 EC-MRI ( MSN : 19056 ). We departed from Palma de Mallorca ’ s regional terminal , one of the latest additions to the airport , which normally handles Air Nostrum ’ s flights . We boarded on time at 11:30 . The doors were
The 50-minute-flight to Valencia was the longest of the day . The crew had enough time to deliver drinks and snacks , and we were able to chat with the crew and take in the CRJ- 1000 cockpit . But soon it was time to prepare for landing in Valencia . We arrived at 12:55 , with our fantastic journey with Air Nostrum ending just in time for lunch .
After spending the morning flying across the Balearic islands , we were impressed by the job that Air Nostrum does in connecting them with each other and with the rest of Spain and Europe . Aviation is the quickest and easiest way to move among the islands . And Air Nostrum provides an essential service in this regard .
