Surinam Airways ( PY ) has agreed to lease an Airbus A330-200 . The 18-year-old aircraft was originally delivered to Brazil ’ s TAM ( JJ ), and is configured with a 345-seat single-class passenger cabin .

The first converted Embraer E190 ( F ) successfully completed its first flight on April 5 . The Embraer flight test team flew the E-Freighter jet for around two hours , carrying out a complete evaluation of the aircraft . Once the flight tests are completed , the aircraft will be delivered to Regional One , a US-based leasing firm .

Faroe Islands-based FarCargo started scheduled flights to Brussels on March 28 . The airline serves Belgium ’ s capital city with two weekly flights . The aircraft , a freighter-converted Boeing 757 , was originally delivered to American Airlines ( AA ) in 2001 as N185AN .
