AIRWAYS TRAVELER A Day in Copenhagen
2
COPENHAGEN AIRPORT IS EASY TO NAVIGATE
… as long as you speak Danish or English . Signs in both languages provide clear directions , and announcements are likewise made in the two languages .
With travelers from all over the world arriving and departing , Copenhagen airport can be a very busy place , and that makes it great for people-watching . Us North American Avgeeks can entertain ourselves by simply looking at the Departure board , with its unfamiliar European carriers like Air Greenland ( GL ) and Brussels Airlines ( SN ) flying to destinations we would consider exotic , like Gdansk , Poland , ( GDN ) and Palanga , Lithuania , ( PLQ ). And they are parked in huge lots in city squares , many of them simply being placed unlocked in the racks . I imagined that , as everyone already has a bike , there is no reason to steal one . And , as there are so many bikes , the odds of your particular one being stolen are very low . I read that about 40 % of Copenhagen ’ s citizens cycle to work ( which is possibly the reason the Danes all
