The first Airbus A321neo for KLM ( KL ) has completed its first test flight . The aircraft , named Swallowtail after a butterfly , continues the carrier ’ s tradition of giving unique names to its planes . The carrier expects to operate a fleet of four of the type by the end of the year .

Romanian carrier Animawings ( A2 ) has leased an Airbus A320-200 from Dan Air ( DN ). The 180-seat aircraft was originally delivered to IndiGo ( 6E ) in 2009 . The airline , established in 2019 and based at Henri Coanda International Airport in Bucharest ( BUD ), serves charter destinations across 10 Romanian cities with two aircraft .

CSA Czech Airlines ( OK ) will cease to exist on October 26 , when it will be folded into SmartWings ( QS ), its parent airline . The airline , the fifth-oldest in the world , will also terminate its OK Plus frequent flier program , and will leave the Skyteam global airline alliance .
