AIRLINE REVIEW
In the face of these maintenance delays , airBaltic has wet-leased additional aircraft to ensure operational continuity and meet rising passenger demand during the busy northern hemisphere summer season . To cope with the high demand , the airline has incorporated into its fleet aircraft from XFly ( EE ), Danish Air Transport ( DX ), Carpatair ( V3 ), and Cyprus Airways ( CY ).
Alongside these measures , BT has maintained a robust ACMI ( aircraft , crew , maintenance , and insurance ) out-leasing program , leasing out 14 of its aircraft and thus perpetuating a trend that , since 2019 , has seen an average of 9.8 ACMI annual out-leases with partners such as Swiss International Air Lines ( LX ), Eurowings ( EW ), and Scandinavian Airlines ( SK ).

The hangar ’ s design will allow the simultaneous line-and-base maintenance of up to eight A220-300 aircraft .
