Boeing handed over its final 747-8F to Atlas Air ( 5Y ) last February , ending more than five decades of production .
Russia ’ s invasion of its neighbor Ukraine in February 2022 led to the isolation of its commerce aerospace sector , which had hoped to compete with those of the USA and Europe . China , on the other hand , has slowly emerged in the global market with the COMAC C919 and the proposed C919 wide-body .
