As I conclude this trip report , I am reminded of the timeless words of the ancient Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu : “ a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step ”. My journey with Turkish Airlines was just one step on the modern Silk Road of the skies , but it was one that left a positive , lasting impression , whatever small inconveniences I had experienced .
In an age in which the world seems to be growing smaller , and distances shorter , it is comforting to know that the spirit of the Silk Road lives on . Through the miracle of air travel , we can all share in the wonder and diversity of our global community . And for that , I am truly grateful .
