focused on premium travel , for its Business Class .
These seats are absolutely fantastic . They are comfortable , spacious , and very private , especially those in the even rows , which are placed next to the windows and away from the aisle . The combination of an almost fully black cabin with striped walls and other details , makes this of the most elegant yet cozy interiors in which we have set foot .
However , there are still some aspects that need to be addressed to achieve an excellent product . The seat , for instance , offers almost zero space to store any personal belongings . The best compartment we found to stow items like passports or phones is the small space in which the noise-canceling headphones are located .
However , not only did the headphones take up most of that compartment , but it was also fully open , and the items constantly kept falling out during turbulence , take-off , or landing , which can be very bothersome . This means , for instance , that families who spend substantially more to fly comfortably with their children cannot stow away any toys or other objects their kids use during the flight .
And the seat ’ s build quality is not as good as we expected . Given the prestige associated with a firm like Safran , it was disappointing to see armrests loosely attached , malfunctioning buttons , and gaps that can ’ t be reached to remove any dirt and food leftovers . The airframe on which we traveled , D-ANRO , was delivered to Condor in March 2024 , and was already showing signs of passenger use despite being not even two months old .
The catering service consisted of a full multi-course meal after departure , and another one before arrival . These two services were distinguished by hot towel handouts , a luxurious and very busy German roast beef presentation , a hot main course , and a dessert .
Despite the food being served in fixed trays , the care given to all this was enormous . It was , in fact , too much , as each of the catering services lasted more than an hour from first to last item . This meant that a whole quarter of the journey was dedicated to meal services .
Finally , when checking out the IFE system , we found an amazing entertainment variety with plenty of Easter eggs and gadgets . One great highlight : you could connect your own Bluetooth headphones to the screen , which was not only extremely
