Additionally , besides a very wide choice of films and series , including recent blockbusters like Oppenheimer or Poor Things , a unique section aroused our aviation enthusiasm . On every Condor flight , you can spend hours watching cockpit landing videos at some of the airline ’ s most famous destinations . These videos are not only visually enjoyable but also provide technical data for the most demanding viewer , with VOR and waypoint locations and arrival procedures .
Overall , the Business Class product as a whole is an exceptional improvement over previous offerings . But , if you
board the plane expecting exclusivity and real luxury , you will be disappointed . That ’ s not because the product is bad ; it ’ s because it ’ s not made for premium and frequent travelers .
Condor ’ s ‘ affordable luxury ’, as Mikko Turtiainen puts it , is directed at passengers who want to boost their experience while flying to their vacation destinations . The expectations of this passenger profile , while still high , are much lower than on other airlines .
It ’ s just a very good balance between a premium experience and a good price that enables almost any passenger to enjoy what it is to fly Business Class — and Condor ’ s product ensures a very good ‘ first time ’.
ROUTE STRATEGY
If you take a quick look at Condor ’ s route network ( as of July 2024 ), you will easily identify the most recognizable global leisure destinations . As we have said , the Canary Islands , Majorca , Greece , and Türkiye make up almost the whole focus of the airline ’ s operations in Europe .
However , in the long-haul segment , while we still see trunk vacation flights from Frankfurt and Dusseldorf to popular locations like New York , the Dominican Republic , Jamaica , and Barbados , Condor does some interesting things that have been baffling the aviation community .
