Almost a year after the aircraft ’ s delivery , we sat down with Transavia Netherlands CEO Marcel de Nooijer to talk about the A321neo operations .
“ Our first experiences with the Airbus are merely positive ,” he said . “ The Airbus enables us to run our operation more cleanly , quietly , and economically . These steps are necessary to maintain our license to operate , especially given our promise to reduce our impact on people living near airports .
“ Furthermore , for the passenger experience , the Airbus is obviously also a step forward because you have more space and comfort on board and less noise . This is also what I often get back from passengers and crew .
