As of the end of August , the only operator Center Group did not allow online reservations and the only way to reach the company and book a car was to call the airport office on the phone and pay in advance by credit card .

A total of four airlines included Salerno in their networks this past summer . Following the inaugural from Milan Malpensa on July 11 , easyJet added Berlin ( BER ), Geneva ( GVA ), and Basel ( BSL ) on July 12 , and London Gatwick ( LGW ) on July 13 . The Milan connection was scheduled three times per week , and all the other destinations twice weekly .
Volotea added Cagliari ( CAG ) on July 13 , and Verona ( VRN ) and Catania ( CTA ) on September 2 to its inaugural Nantes service ( all flights twice per week ). Europe ’ s

largest low-cost carrier Ryanair ( FR ) debuted at QSR on August 1 with a roundtrip from Bergamo Orio al Serio ( BGY ), adding one from Turin ( TRN ) on August 2 . These two domestic services have been operated three times per week . FR added two weekly rotations from London Stansted on August 4 .
The fourth airline flying into Salerno was the lesser-known Universal Air ( VO ), a Malta-based company operating a fleet of two Dash8-400s , with two weekly services from and to Luqa Airport ( MLA ).
